Join us for a whirlwind tour of pollinators, especially our beautiful native bees and butterflies, and how to create habitat for them, even in our own backyards. The talk will also feature the amazing monarch butterfly migration.

David Moskowitz says that he’s been fortunate to visit the wintering colonies four times in the mountains of Mexico. The talk will be part travelogue, part natural wonder, and how our pollinator habitats are important to sustaining the migration. The presentation features my photos, spotlighting the beauty of our pollinators.

I have a PhD in Entomology from Rutgers and I am a Principal in EcolSciences where I’ve spent my entire career. I’ve published widely on natural history topics and many of my photos have been in magazines and journals.

I co-founded the global project – National Moth Week, one of the largest Citizen Science programs in the world. I’ve had a truly life-long interest in insects and nature and as Lady Gaga sang “I was born this way”.
