In her retirement, Janet has done a considerable amount of public speaking on the topic of her parents’ history as Holocaust survivors.  With her sisters, she took a once in a lifetime trip following in her parents’ footsteps to the United States and wrote as well as self-published a book entitled Salt of the Earth about her parents’ journey which is available on Amazon.
