Understanding the
Black Lives Matter Movements

Do you have questions about the Black Lives Matter movement? Our featured speaker, Ore Obiwumi, has been helping us to build a local party in Mount Arlington since August of 2019, both officially, in her former role as the Political Director of the Morris County Democratic Committee, and unofficially since then. She has encouraged us to build a local Democratic party that reflects our democratic values.

Ore Obiwumi is speaking on her own time, but she also currently works as a field manager for “The Sister District Project” which works to turn states blue by winning state legislative elections.  So, we’ll also ask her for tips about how to transition from red to blue.
