We will be holding our first meeting on Tuesday Nov 24 2020 via zoom about making calls to Georgia for the two senate runoff elections. Here are the important dates and information you will need:
- Last day to register is Dec. 7. Voters can sign up online thru Secretary of State office. Voters can check their registration status at the Ga Secretary of State my voter page.
- On Nov 18 first day absentee ballots are mailed to voters. Voters can request them from Secretary of State office 404-656-2817. Or voters can call the GA call center 1-800-436-7442 from 8am to 5 pm.
- Voters can return ballots in-person to the board of election office or to early voting site, via drop boxes or regular mail.
- Dec 14 thru Dec 31 for early in person voting
- Jan 5 2021 Election Day
Jon Ossoff’s Policies
- Strengthen Affordable Care Act with strong public option
- Defend and strengthen Social security and Medicare
- Supports clean energy and infrastructure
- Lower taxes for working families and small business
- Major criminal justice reform
- Defend Roe v wade
- End Citizens United and keep “dark money” out of politics.
- Jon was CEO of Insight TWI a company investigating human trafficking, sexual slavery, corrupt foreign and domestic officials etc
Rev. Rafael Warnock’s Policies
- Affordable healthcare for all, protect preexisting conditions, public option and lower Drug costs.
- Support renewable energy and carbon reduction. Rejoin Paris Climate Accord and reverse Trump’s EPA rollbacks on clean air and water. Protect GA coastline from rising sea levels.
- Reduce gun violence. Reform bail system and incarceration. Equal rights for all citizens.
- Support livable wage, farmers, and people affected by COVID epidemic.
This is an important election and will determine control of the senate.
